Infrastructure company C&C Constructions will raise $100m by December this year to fund highways projects, the company has announced.

The Indian firm intends to construct road projects worth INR50bn ($1bn) on a build, operate and transfer (BOT) basis.

The funds would partly come from debt and equity, and the company is yet to finalise the finer details of the fund-raising plans.

Currently, C&C is undertaking INR25bn ($535m) BOT road projects, and has schemes worth INR10bn ($214m) in the pipeline.

The firm focuses on an infrastructure construction segment, including highways, airports, telecom and power transmission, and has completed 29 projects across India and Afghanistan.
