The Road Authority of Namibia, SA, awarded a contract worth US $110m to Raubex, a South African contractor, to upgrade the link between the nation and Angola, bordering on to its north.

Under the contract Raubex will rebuild two sections of road between Elundu and Nkuerenkur in Kavango region of Namibia, according to a report on highway news site Worldhighways.

The work is scheduled to start in May 2009 and is expected to complete by 2011.
