International Road Dynamics (IRD) subsidiary IRDSA (South Asia) has been awarded four Indian road contracts worth CDN $2.75 million, including installation of toll systems and construction of toll lanes.

The first one focuses on installation of toll collection systems and highway traffic management systems (HTMS) along 40km of multilane highway. It second phase involves service extension and maintenance of the toll and HTMS systems.

The CDN$1.05 million second contract deals with supply of HTMS equipment on another 40km section.

The third contract includes supply of 21 lanes, including electronic toll collection systems in four toll lanes. Further, it includes supply of radio frequency identification (RFID) technology based readers and tags as well as standard toll equipment.

The last contract includes supply of toll equipment for ten toll lanes as well as slow speed weigh-in-motion equipment for four toll lanes.
