The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) in Dubai has awarded a Dh184m (approx US$50.12m) contract to Majid Al Futtaim Company for constructing Mirdiff City Centre-Bound Bridges.

RTA board chairman and executive director HE Mattar Al Taye said that the project focused on providing the entry and exit points to Mirdiff City Centre by capitalising on the existing bridges and slopes.

In addition, it includes construction of bridges for traffic heading to the center from Rashidiya and Tripoli Road.

The centre is built in 196,000m2 and will house 430 outlets. It will also accommodate 7,000 vehicles in a three-level parking lot which is fitted with 12 entry and exit points.
