The launch of a service on Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority website has eased the management of violations occurring in the electronic toll system.

The violation management service focuses on easing the process of re-evaluating the reported offences and tracking them by users of Salik toll gates.

Information about vehicle violations and the opportunity to raise objections to fines can be accessed and users can track their case until their complaints have been resolved.

RTA Traffic and Roads Agency CEO Maitha Bin Udai said that users were now entitled to raise objections without visiting RTA offices over doubts about a certain offence, saving time for system users and RTA employees.

RTA started displaying the image of the vehicle so that the owner can verify the offence before taking any action.
