The US state of New Hampshire has sanctioned $20m in funds for various road projects that include $5m for a airport access road project to Manchester-Boston Regional Airport.

The contract for the airport road is the sixth out of eight required for the project. Federal stimulus funds for the airport access road project have enabled the government to expedite construction of the road, the Associated Press reports.

Other sanctioned road projects include nearly $5m for rebuilding a road and bridge on Interstate 95 in Portsmouth and over $10m for bridge and repaving work on a 12-mile expanse of Interstate 93 in Woodstock and Lincoln.
