The plan includes developing a total of 512km of road through several projects.

The projects include converting 122km of 12 key corridors into signal-free corridors and the widening, strengthening and asphalting of arterial and sub-arterial roads and bridge constructions.

The plan also includes building 200 skywalks along the signal-free corridors and 200 pedestrian subways.

The project would be funded by Rs 8,300 crore from bonds and loans, Rs 2000 crore from the private sector and the remainder though public grants.

The plan would be submitted to the State Cabinet for approval after discussions with the state Chief Minister.
