The Calgary city council in Canada has approved a $40m plan to build an interchange at the intersection of Glenmore Trail and 37 Street SW.

The interchange will help ease the east-west traffic flow in the city.

Construction is expected to begin next year and finish within two years.

The funding for the project has not been finalised but officials hope to use the money left from the previous city projects as well as the money set aside for the now defunct Tsuu T’ina lan ring road project.
