The Asian Development Bank (ADB) said China’s Heilongjiang province will receive a $200m loan for the development of its road transport sector.

The 25-year loan is expected to improve road infrastructure, maintenance and rural bus services in the landlocked province.

It involves building a 206km, four-lane expressway and advancement of road maintenance management.

The project is expected to receive $419.7m from a Chinese bank, $203.56m from the central government and $174.89m from the provincial governments.
