Kenya is planning to invest KES3.8bn ($48m) to revamp the roads in its western region.

The projects involve tarmacing the 35km Rangala-Siaya-Bondo road and the Bondo-Misori road.

Renovation of the Nyamasaria-Kisumu road is also included as part of the plans, according to nation.co.ke.

The projects are expected to ease transportation in western Kenya.
