The United Arab Emirates (UAE) will install three advanced radars to check traffic violations in Ras Al Khaimah.

New radars are expected to detect violations including speeding, wanted vehicles and wrong surpassing of vehicles.

The new technology is intended to help control the vehicles on the emirate’s streets and ensure better safety for pedestrians.

The radars, which hold the number plate information of wanted vehicles, help the traffic authorities in locating and seizing such vehicles.

With the new addition, Ras Al Khaimah has a total of eight radars, according to gulfnews.com.
