Sri Lanka will receive $184m in funds from various international banks for road projects in the country.

The World Bank and the International Development Authority are expected to contribute $100m and $50m respectively, with the Asian Development Bank contributing a further $34m, according to worldhighways.com.

The projects include the 25km Paranthan Poonareyn road, the 38km Vellankulam-Mankulam road, the 43km Trincomalee-Kantale road and the 90km Dambulla-Ambepussa road.
