Warren County in the US state of Kentucky will receive $125m for road improvements in the proposed $4.5bn state road plan.

The funds are expected to be invested in road projects during the next two years, according to wbko.com.

The projects involve reconstructing bridges, roundabouts and approaches to reduce congestion and improve road infrastructure in the county.

Road widening and surfacing works will also be taken up as part of the project.
