Nigeria has approved two contracts worth NGN62bn ($409m) for road projects.

The Ibadan-Ilorin project was re-awarded to Nigeria-based Reynolds Construction Company Limited for N47.5bn ($311m).

The contract involves dualisation of the Ibadan-Ilorin road section between Oyo and Ogbomosho, which is expected to be complete in 40 months, according to punchng.com.

The second NGN15.04bn ($98m) contract, for the Kano Western Bypass, has been awarded to Nigeria-based Dantata and Sawoe Construction Company and should be complete in 36 months.
