China has granted $800m in funds for Indonesia’s new highway and bridge projects.

The projects include the new Tayan Bridge, the Teluk Kendari Bridge and the Cileunyi-Sumedang-Dawuan toll road.

The Medan-Kualanamu toll road, also part of the infrastructural plan, will cost $476m, according to worldhighways.com.

Indonesia’s Public Work Ministry is believed to have sought the aid of local contractors to work on the projects.
