Vinci Construction has signed an MoU with Vietnam to design and construct road infrastructure in the country.

The $600m project will involve widening a 9km road and building a new 11km section that includes two tunnels (5, 5km and 0.350km), three bridges covering 1,260km and 4km of approach roads.

Other work includes removing the last crossing of a mountain pass on National Highway 1A, according to the France-based company.

The project will be located on the North-South axis connecting Vietnam’s capital Hanoi to Ho Chi Minh (RN 1A).
