The EU has agreed to support Poland’s transport infrastructure projects through subsidies worth zl2.423bn ($756m).

The subsidies will fund a 4.1km bypass on a national highway and a zl1.5bn ($468m) project, which includes 35km of express route and 6.5km of national highway.

The fund will also be allocated for building a national highway through Poznan and improving national highway 69 in Bielsko-Biala.

The EU signed the contracts with the General Inspectorate for National Roads and Motorways, according to the Warsaw Business Journal.
