West Sussex County Council in the UK is inviting bids from construction companies for a five-year highway maintenance framework contract in the region.

The £315m ($485.57m) deal covers all highways and winter maintenance, including individual highway improvement schemes up to the value of £500,000 ($770 750), excluding street lighting.

The authority could extend the contract by another two years.

Firms can submit expressions of interest until 20 September this year.
