US-based ESCORT has released a new product that allows radar detectors to work without false alerts generated by traffic flow monitoring systems.

The company said radar detector users, who drive where traffic flow sensors are in use, are experiencing an increase in false alerts originating from K-band traffic flow sensors used to monitor real-time traffic flow.

The company’s Traffic Sensor Rejection feature is user-selectable and can also be disabled by drivers not exposed to the traffic monitors.

The radar detector models include: PASSPORT 9500ix GPS-enabled windshield mounted radar and laser detector, and the PASSPORT 9500ci and PASSPORT Qi45 custom-installed radar and laser detector systems.
