US-based driver performance management company GreenRoad has launched a new fleet tracking service, GreenRoad Advanced Tracking, which is powered by GPS Insight, a technology supplier of GPS tracking software for fleet-based customers.

GreenRoad Advanced Tracking offers fleet operators a new level of insight into fleet performance, resulting in enhanced fuel economy, asset utilisation and productivity.

GreenRoad customer solutions senior vice president Karen White said that the new service builds on the GreenRoad Connected Fleet vision by giving managers deeper, broader insight into how they are using their fleet assets, as well as information on how drivers are performing.

The service provides interactive displays of entire fleets, any vehicle group or single vehicle, colour-coding for easy status identification, 2D and 3D mapping, vehicle history trails and automatic alerts.

It also provides increased fleet activity insight with landmark and geofence support and offers automatic alerts when a vehicle enters or leaves a landmark or group of landmarks.

In addition, this premium fleet tracking service provides multiple, detailed activity reports, such as drive-time summary, fleet utilisation and odd-hours violations.

While vehicle MPG reports are available with fuel card transaction data integration, users can also access a customisable dashboard that runs specific reports and provides managerial insights with a minimum of mouse clicks.

GreenRoad Advanced Tracking is an addition to GreenRoad’s driver performance and safety solution, which combines real-time, in-vehicle safety feedback with a management portal that offers insight and guidance.

GreenRoad, through the use of cloud and mobile technology, offers a range of driver performance and fleet tracking services that are currently used by more than 70,000 drivers across the world, in all vehicle types and industries.
