TOPXVIEW: ADVANCED TRAFFIC SCADA SOFTWARE SUITE

TOPXVIEW provides centralised supervision and control of installed systems on highways and in tunnels. It has specially designed advanced features dedicated to traffic applications and can implement complex management algorithms. TOPXVIEW uses a flexible, industry-standard database and can produce web-based reports and graphs. It also allows for ergonomic visualisation of operations, and it is fully-modular, expandable and multilingual.

The TOPXVIEW software suite supports numerous systems including:

ROADSIDE OUTSTATIONS (SCADA SUBSTATIONS) IN ACCORDANCE WITH TLS OR ANY OTHER SYSTEM

Roadside traffic control outstations collect data from traffic systems (e.g. meteorological, traffic flow), and count and classify vehicles. They process and transfer data to the traffic monitoring / control centre and forward operators' orders to the equipment (e.g. variable message signs, signal heads, video detectors and automatic barriers).

Roadside outstations transfer data to the control centre and other equipment wirelessly or via copper or optical cables. They are fully Ethernet-supported and facilitate autonomous local operation in the event of a communication breakdown. The roadside outstations have large non-volatile memory buffers and have the option to control electrical power equipment or connect directly to other subsystems using different field bus protocols. The structure, type and precision of data of these outstations is based on TLS (standard) or another system of choice. The substations also have high resistance to electromagnetic interference and environmental conditions.

Systems integrated with Telegra's RO fully comply with directive 2004/54/EC of the European Parliament and of the council on minimum safety requirements for tunnels and the Trans-European Road Network.
