Inductive loop detectors for road traffic systems

Procon manufactures a range of boxed and Eurocard style traffic detectors for traffic light control and motorway incident detection, as well as automatic signalling (MIDAS) applications.

Our standard range includes single, dual and four-channel detectors. The well-known LD462O Eurocard detector has been used in many systems around the world for a variety of applications.

Inductive loop detectors for car park barriers and access control applications

Procon supplies a wide range of inductive loop detectors for use in parking systems.

Typical applications include safety loops for barriers or gates, arming loops for activating card dispensers, entry or exit loops and vehicle counting.

The LD100 single channel loop detector has become the product of choice in many applications. Versions with RS485 communication ports are also available.

The product is compatible with the majority of existing small channel detectors currently available. Despite being a small unit, it has been designed to perform a wide range of functions thanks to the use of surface-mount technology and a microprocessor. Any faults can be quickly identified by a warning light, enabling efficient maintenance and avoiding any disruptions to operations.

Parking barrier and turnstile control logic modules

Procon manufactures standard and customised logic modules for controlling barriers and turnstiles.

The company supplies a number of world-leading barrier manufacturers with modules to meet special requirements of individual applications. The logic units perform all the functional requirements to operate a barrier or turnstile.

A number of the barrier logic controllers also include a built-in loop detector.

The logic outputs control mains-powered alternating current (AC), direct current (DC) or brushless DC (BLDC) motors.
