IT4 Automation Road Traffic Automation Network Distribution

IT4Automation (IT4A) is an automation network distributor based in the UK. We aim to help our customers build better networks through good advice, effective services and the supply of products that are fit for purpose, irrespective of the environment or application demands.
Network automation for road traffic systems
Networks, the lifeblood of the modern automation system, are an enabling platform for automation applications and associated systems. Not surprisingly, they have to be secure, scalable, high-performance, and often suitable for deployment in challenging environments.
Furthermore, the modern network needs protection from viruses, worms, hackers and operator error. Early industrial Ethernets overlooked several key design issues such as network architecture, security and management. As a result, many networks suffered from poor reliability and decreasing performance as they expanded.
Automation network installation and configuration
At IT4A, our priority is to ensure that your network and all its components not only perform to your expectations, but are installed easily and allow for growth. To achieve this, we provide the after-sales service that fits in with your level of expertise and on your time.
If, for example, you have all the skills you need to install your products, you can use our standard supply service. As its name suggests, this simply involves taking delivery of your products, with no added chargeable services.
Should you need assistance by telephone or email, we provide all the help we can. We also offer IT4A Take Over, which provides remote desktop support for any configuration help you may need.
If, however, you would prefer to have your system pre-configured, labelled and shipped to you or your installer, complete with test documentation, your best option is our IT4A Ready for Installation service.
Road traffic technology hardware and software
IT4A have secured distribution agreements with the market leaders in industrial Ethernet and communications systems and supporting technologies.
Characteristics such as reliability, resilience, flexibility and security are paramount within automation networks that have a design life of decades rather than just a few years. Product features such as environmental hardening, protection against electromagnetic interference, redundant power inputs and resilient communications paths are all facets of industrial product selection.
As well as the expertise to help you make the right decision, we have the hardware and software that will allow you to create a high-performance network that is both flexible and secure.
Advanced road traffic communication systems
Getting the very most out of advanced technology is something we’re passionate about at IT4A. For this reason, we’re constantly researching and developing new applications that build on the functionality of existing products.
The forward-thinking culture at IT4A demonstrates our commitment to bringing you innovative solutions today and in the future.
