Tenix Solutions has signed a new contract with the City of Stonnington, one of Melbourne’s largest metropolitan councils, to provide parking enforcement and administration services until at least 2013.
Tenix Solutions has operated these services for the City of Stonnington since 2003. Under the new contract, Tenix Solutions has committed to maximising services to customers, improving officer safety and introducing new technologies to support service delivery.
Tenix Solutions CEO Barry Borzillo disclosed that the contract renewal reinforces the company’s position as Australia’s leading provider of integrated parking enforcement services.
“Tenix Solutions is the only company in the world to offer an end-to-end parking management solution and we are committed to delivering best practice services to enhance the City of Stonnington’s parking strategies,” Mr Borzillo explained.
The contract covers the entire enforcement lifecycle, from on-street patrols, issuing infringements and back-office processing and collecting outstanding debt. As part of the new contract, enforcement officers will have the most advanced parking technology available.
“The officers will be using handheld devices capable of capturing images of an offence which guarantees transparency of the enforcement process and upholds the integrity of the parking program,” Mr Borzillo concluded.
City of Stonnington will continue to use NOVA Park, a modular software package to support the processing of parking infringements.
Tenix Solutions’ objective is to ensure efficient enforcement of traffic regulations and the safer use of roads for the community.
