SERNIS was nominated with the innovation award for TranspoQuip, the largest fair of Road Safety in Latin America. The B-Rail was one of ten award-winning products with TranspoQuip Innovation Award, being recognized as one of the most entrepreneurial industry solutions.
The Portuguese company leader in technologic solutions for Road Safety, developed this new system of guardrails adapted to all vehicles, especially motorcyclists.
B-rail has all conditions to reduce the number of fatalities and serious injuries on the roads. It stands out for great power damping shock, eliminating all sharp edges and high absorption and dissipation capacity of impact energies.
There were several awards for innovation, research and development achieved over the years by the Portugal-based company, distinguishing worldwide by major innovations.
The i-stud Evolution was also one of the great innovations launched by SERNIS this year. Featuring the most potent and effective road stud, project of great interest which prevents accidents through its intelligent power management technology. Presented for the first time in a tradeshow, the i-stud evolution has been the focus of interest and its cutting edge technology has been widely praised.
Innovations were launched at the trade TranspoQuip, which took place between 3 and 5 December in Sao Paulo, Brazil. In Europe will be presented in early 2014, in the international trade fair Intertraffic Amsterdam.
