The Isolux Corsán group has secured a €270m order for the construction of four stretches of road.

According to the company, the section is located in the state of Odisha, India, between the cities of Talcher and Chandikole.

The section is said to involve more than 130km of road, which is worth a total of €110m.

Two of the other three stretches are located in the state of Assam region, which borders Bhutan and Bangladesh.

Making up part of the NH37, the two sections will link the cities of Jorhat and Jhanji, at a distance of more than 35km, and the cities of Jhanji and Demow, representing a total combined distance of nearly 90km of road.

The stretch, which is located within National Highway 15, in the north-west of the country is said to link Phalodi and Jaisalmer.

The distance between these two cities is more than 160km, although the cost of the road amounts to €55m, the lowest of the four contracts that have been awarded.
