ShoulderMaster is committed to offering bespoke services for clients that require unique solutions.
Shoulder paving attachments for quickly widening road shoulders
A common problem for road networks is ageing regional roads that were not designed for the current traffic loads that they are facing. Many regional roads are too narrow, have unstable shoulders or experience edge breaks and drop offs, all of which have the ability to cause serious driving hazards. Repairing these problems is time-intensive and can expose construction workers to live traffic, which is dangerous for workers and road users.
ShoulderMaster’s shoulder paving attachments quickly and easily widen road shoulders. The ShoulderMaster SM1500 and SM2100 deliver the most efficient and least intrusive placement methods possible. Not only are they three times faster than traditional methods, they are also more than 50% more cost-effective and use up to 70% less fossil fuel.
Skid steer shoulder paver attachments
ShoulderMasters’ original skid steer / wheeled loader shoulder paving attachment, the ShoulderMaster SM1500 can lay both gravel and asphalt materials. The attachment’s features include a hydraulic tilt function for grade control, allowing materials to be placed at grades of +/- 5°. The SM1500 offers a horizontal screed adjustment range between 300mm to 1,500mm.
Another skid steer shoulder paving attachment, the ShoulderMaster SM2100 can widen road shoulders from 500mm to 2.3m using either gravel or asphalt materials. The screed can drop 150mm below and 100mm above the existing pavement, enabling materials to be placed in multiple layers with gradients up to 5%. The attachment has a screed slope adjustment of +/-5°.
Spreader trailers
