Metric Parking has expanded into Canada and has won a contract from Target Park of Toronto for 35 Aura pay and display parking machines. The coin and credit card machines will be used for parking control at Cambrian College located in Sudbury, Ontario.
The Auras will be linked to Metric’s ASLAN back office system, which will be hosted by Target Park. The units will be installed and maintained by Target Park on several parking lots throughout the campus.
Dave Witts, president of Metric Group, said: “Teaming up with Target Park allows Metric to establish a presence in the Canadian market. With the experience of their management and service teams, we believe they will establish the Aura as a proven solution for multi-space parking equipment.”
“This will be the first completely hosted solution provided by Metric and operated by Target Park using Metric’s Web ASLAN product in North America,” he continued.
Mike Kanarellis, general manager of Target Park, said: “We are proud and excited to be working with Metric and bringing their product to Canada. Through this partnership and Metric’s exceptional product line, Target Park will be able to provide additional solutions to our customers.”
