Metric Parking has come to the aid of Northampton General Hospital.
The UK’s only manufacturer of parking machines supplied the busy hospital with 11 of its Aura pay and display units with numeric keypads and note readers as they originally requested for their car park.
However, the hospital has found that since the installation last July visitors seem to find it difficult to use the keypads and note readers and as a result Metric has removed them from the machines. Richard Staveley, Metric sales executive sais, “The Auras that we have installed elsewhere with numeric keypads and note readers work extremely well. However, we can understand the pain incurred by users if they don’t work for hospital visitors in Northampton.”
Northampton General Hospital charges £2.40 for a two hour visit.
