IRD has introduced its new under vehicle area scanner (UVAS).
The UVAS can be used for inspection of moving vehicles, ‘Before and after’ or ‘after and before’ comparisons, and license plate recognition, and provides high-definition images in real-time.
It can be used by military and government organisations, ports and critical infrastructure, private and public facilities (such as hotels and sports complexes), industrial facilities, corrections and high-risk institutions, weigh stations and border crossings.
Terry Bergan, IRD’s President and CEO said: "We are pleased to add the UVAS to our line of exceptional under vehicle surveillance units, which also include permanent colour area scanning and inspection technology and real-time video. These products enforce IRD’s presence in the worldwide security and safety markets."
