The Horus Web Viewer makes sharing images and data easy.
Our web viewer makes it easy for a large number of employees to consult the images and data from the inspections and inventories. Depending on the purpose the images are used for, the viewer calculates a fixed distance between recording locations and then loads the corresponding 360° views from those locations. The images can then be viewed in your web browser. The viewer shows an open source map (similar to Google Maps) and a virtual sphere in which the images are projected. By turning and tilting the sphere, users can look in any direction and zoom in on details.
The data that is used for the Web Viewer can be stored on your corporate server, but it’s also possible to store the data on one our green datacenters. The Web Viewer itself can be based on Adobe Flash or HTML5 with WebGL. Newer versions of our products will be based on HTML5 and WebGL since this has become the new standard. It is supported by Firefox, Safari and Chrome. The new versions can also be integrated with your existing GIS viewer.
