TomTom has released Indoor for Enterprise, which offers site operators, facility and location managers detailed indoor maps of public and private venues.

The new feature can be integrated with the TomTom BRIDGE platform, a ruggedised device that connects the business application with the company’s navigation technology. It helps in enhancing customer experience, cost saving and improves efficiency levels.

TomTom BRIDGE B2B Sales vice-president Sebastien Ruffino said: “It’s all about creating a seamless navigation experience.

“The combination of TomTom's maps, both indoor, and traditional navigation maps, means that guidance can be integrated into the day-to-day operations of a wide variety of businesses on the move, as well as other venues, including enterprise facilities, shopping malls, airports, hospitals and more.

“Ultimately, the availability of TomTom Indoor on the TomTom BRIDGE platform is about creating efficiency and cost savings, as well as a more satisfied workforce.

“TomTom BRIDGE is already helping logistics companies to be more efficient.

"Pairing TomTom’s navigation and live traffic information with business applications all on the one device helps to save time and money.

“Now, we’re joining the dots in that navigation experience, on public roads, on private terrain, and even indoors.”
