The state will also operate the programme and will involve in toll collection.

The Northwest Corridor project extends along 29.7 miles of I-75 and I-575, and is a collaborative effort between (GDOT) and the State Road and Tollway Authority.

GDOT manages the design and construction of the project and will be responsible for the long-term operation and maintenance of the highway.

The cost of the overall project is estimated to be $833.7m.
