The BMU adopted a new directive for the promotion of climate protection projects in social, cultural and public institutions within the framework of the National Climate Initiative on 22 September 2015.
Capable grant expenditures for investments in plant components include control technology, which directly reduces greenhouse gases and is installed by qualified external professionals. Not eligible for funding are spending on prototypes, used equipment, DIY equipment, planning and engineering services, repair / farming existing facilities and operating expenses.
Interestingly, in deviation from the support measures of the BMU in recent years, LED retrofit solutions are no longer excluded and are therefore eligible.
