‘Intelligent’ transportation systems (ITS) developer Image Sensing Systems has developed the Autoscope RTMS Sx-300, as part of its traffic management product portfolio.

The new product offers advanced and accurate vehicle detection service to help keep daily traffic free of congestion.

It has the capacity to detect up to 12 lanes of simultaneous detection reporting of vehicle presence, volume, occupancy, speed and classification data, providing improved lane detection capabilities.

"We are pleased to be able to address the concerns of the transportation sector."

Image Sensing Systems traffic management product manager Nathan Silver said: "After many years of innovative development driven by the voice of our customers, we are pleased to be able to address the concerns of the transportation sector by offering a radar detection solution with increased reliability and longevity."

The Autoscope RTMS Sx-300 features a fully automated set-up that is capable of self-detecting and self-calibrating detection zones, offering users a cost effective installation process.

It also provides a zero-setback capability, and five-year warranty.

It can also combine with the CitySync Metro software to provide traffic engineers with clarifying analytics that make data more actionable, while helping reduce traffic congestion.

Image Sensing Systems will feature the Autoscope RTMS Sx-300 at the Intertraffic exhibition in Amsterdam from 25 to 28 March.
