EVBox Electric Vehicle Charging Stations and Software Provider
EVBox is a leading manufacturer of electric vehicle (EV) charging stations and charging management software for the road, hospitality and real estate sectors.
With more than 60,000 charging points across more than 45 countries worldwide, EVBox provide electric drivers with access to a charging point during their journey.
EVBox serve EV drivers, workplaces and fleets, real estate, retail and hospitality, commercial parking and fleets worldwide.
Benefits of smart charging solutions for electric vehicles
Due to its efficient and flexible power distribution and creation capabilities, smart charging minimises unnecessary costs such as overcapacity fees charged by grid operators and optimises the power capacity of your charging stations.
EVBox’s hub or satellite configurations enable cost-effective operation of multiple charging stations. The structures can connect up to 20 points in each location through a single communication device, which will substantially improve and facilitate charging stations management.
EVBox’s Load Balancing service effectively distributes the available capacity per location proportionally across all charging stations in use. This ensures that each car is optimally charged within the limits of your charging stations’ and facility’s capacity.
The company’s solutions also features Peak Shaving, which prevents peak usage and avoid overcapacity fees. This allows operators to limit the capacity for your charging stations during the day so you won’t exceed the limits of a site’s maximum capacity, even during peak hours.
Electric vehicle charging solutions for commercial and public areas
EVBox offers a range of vehicle charging solutions for businesses and public tenders.
The company’s BusinessLine solution ranges from 3.7kW to 22kW, while PublicLine is available in 11kW and 22kW variants.
Designed for durability and low maintenance, each solution offers remote monitoring and settlement of charging costs and EVBox’s Load Balancing capabilities efficiently distribute power efficiently.
Both systems can simultaneously charge two electric vehicles and can be integrated with multiple software providers to ensure customer flexibility.
BusinessLine is available with optional fixed charging cables or Schuko charging plugs, while PublicLine is compatible with all grid networks.
Fast charging solutions for electric road vehicles
EVBox’s 50kW DC fast-charging solution can charges up to 125km in 30 minutes.
The company’s Dynamic Load Balancing effectively manages three cars simultaneously and offers smart power and grid management via an optional battery storage. The Everon charging management platform facilitates charging session invoicing, costs and power consumption.
EVBox also offers ultra fast charging solutions, up to 350kW – suitable for powering the new electric vehicle coming to market.
DC is compatible with every electric vehicle, and designed to charge everywhere.
Accessories for optimal charging operations
EVBox provides a wide range of accessories to complement our vehicle charging solutions.
The company’s charging cables are designed to remain flexible in adverse climates and prevent cable buckling. Made with heat-resistant materials, they come with a two-year warranty.
Stainless-steel station poles and brackets are available in various models and lengths. Suitable for wall, foot, and concrete installations, they are compatible with our Elvi and BusinessLine models.
EVBox also offers branded labels and cards for commercial and public applications. With logo and text placement, as well as customised designs available, they can be used for station labels, charge cards, and key fobs.
Available with single or double arrows, EVBox’s stainless-steel parking and road signs are designed for commercial and public use and equipped with aluminium brackets.
About EVBox
Founded in 2010, EVBox aims to provide a fully modular charging station that facilitates installation and maintenance upgrades while adhering to stringent quality and durability levels.
The company soon became the exclusive supplier of public charging infrastructure in locations such as Amsterdam, Monaco and Rotterdam. Meanwhile, we actively promoted smart charging technologies and roaming of charging infrastructure with industry partners and public organisations.
In 2017, EVBox was acquired by energy utility and global service provider ENGIE, who identified the firm as a disruptive, leading clean-tech company that is making a difference in the fast-growing industry of electric mobility.
In 2018, EVBox acquired ultra-fast charging station manufacturer EVTronic, adding 700 previously installed fast-charging stations to our European network.
