Sociedad Ibérica de Construcciones Eléctricas (SICE) has secured a contract from TRAGSA to upgrade detection systems and surveillance cameras at five tunnels in La Palma Island.  

SICE will carry out migration of the existing CCTV and AID systems at two control centres from analogue to digital technology through an IP network. 

It will also deploy a centralised DAI system at the La Cumbre tunnel to convert signals from the existing analogue cameras to the IP network, and install AID servers, AID analytics, and the video server for 26 cameras installed in the tunnel.

SICE will replace 15 DAI analogue cameras with IP models equipped with built-in DAI analytics at the Via Exterior and Bajamar tunnels control centre, and install an AID server, as well as the video server for 22 cameras. 

CPB Contractors has secured a contract worth A$365m ($290m) from the Roads and Maritime Services in Australia.

CBP Contractors will carry out upgrade works for the 34km Pacific Highway that will link the Maclean to Devils Pulpit section to the south and the Richmond River to Ballina bypass section.

Louis Berger has been awarded a contract by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to provide detailed designs and upgrade two roads with a combined length of approximately 820km in Southern India under the Bharatmala-Pariyojna scheme. 

Louis Berger will upgrade the highway located between the state of Tamil Nadu and the union territory of Puducherry, as well as the road that connects the nearby states of Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Goa to improve freight movement within the country.
