Imtech Traffic & Infra has added a new ‘multi-tenancy’ facility to its ImCity Suite, in order to share valuable information among road authorities so that they can take a collaborative approach.

While supporting the need for more efficient use of strategic road networks, ImCity Suite Multi-tenancy Facility (ISMF) helps to improve throughput and traffic flow and enable clients to inform, advise and impact road users’ behaviour.

This functionality enables several clients to share control and monitor information for roadside equipment in a controlled way.

When clients add objects to an ImCity Suite system, they can configure the level of access available to these objects for other named clients.

Clients can also individually configure their event management systems to send email/SMS to their chosen recipients under controlled conditions.

The relevant client name can be displayed in the header of their web interface, in order to maintain their branding independence.

This facility currently works for the WebOS2 and RMS cloud-based applications.

The company claimed that the ISMF has been developed as road authorities seek to maximise the efficiency of their operations through sharing information and control facilities across-boundaries.

By helping the authorities understand what is happening in an adjacent control area, they can have greater overall network efficiency.

Imtech works in 25 countries and has a worldwide network of 70 support offices.
