Hog Technologies Non-Destructive Road Marking Removal Systems and Pavement Marking Systems

The award-winning, Stripe Hog® is the most advanced road marking removal system in the industry today. No other system offers the outstanding combination of speed, cleanliness, safety, and cost efficiency, all on a single truck chassis.
The 40,000psi (2,750bar) Stripe Hog will remove all forms of durable road markings while causing minimal damage to asphalt and concrete surfaces. Its superior performance is a combination of an ultra high pressure water pump, vacuum recovery, and the separation of recovered liquid and debris.
Road marking removal using only water
The Stripe Hog operates with only clean water, no chemicals or additives are used. Thermoplastic, waterborne paint, oil-based paint, rubberized paint, epoxy, waffle tape, foil backed tape, and curing compound cannot begin to withstand the pulverizing force of the needle sharp water jets. With up to 3,150gal (1,1924l) of on-board clean water that can support a minimum of four and a half hours of continuous operation.
Secondary clean-up operations are completely eliminated with the Stripe Hog vacuum recovery system. You no longer need sweeper or vacuum trucks. The recovery of liquid and solid debris occurs immediately, simultaneous with the blasting process.
Because of the outstanding performance of the vacuum recovery system, new markings can be applied within 20 to 30 minutes. With the Stripe Hog, your removal project will be performed quicker, cleaner, without unnecessary support equipment, and with fewer employees. You will save money, enjoy better results, and have greater confidence in your care of the environment.
Separation of recovered liquid from solid debris
The time-consuming, complex disposal process that accompanies our competitors’ products does not apply to Stripe Hog. A 100 Micron Filter immediately separates the liquid from the debris so that the debris water can be quickly decanted in most places without leaving the jobsite.
The efficiency of our patent pending disposal process will shorten your down time and increase your continuous operating time. While disposal requirements may vary significantly from one country to the next, we guarantee that this process will be far less complicated and at a lower cost than all other systems on the market.
Self-contained traffic marking removal system
Mobility and maneuverability are essential to superior performance. Operating a system that requires trailers or additional support trucks will only increase your costs.
Trailers can also be an operational hazard even in the hands of the most skilled operators. Support trucks, such as vacuum, sweepers and tankers, require additional operators, fuel and maintenance. These can increase your operating costs dramatically.
With the Stripe Hog, all of the necessary components are on one truck requiring only one operator. With the optional tractor, two operators are needed. In either case, the job site set-up can be accomplished in 30 minutes or less.
Versatile and adaptable for all marking removal
Regardless of your marking removal needs, the Stripe Hog will accomplish the job quicker, cleaner, and more efficiently than other methods that attempt similar results.
Eight different models of the Stripe Hog offer a wide range of flexibility. The blasting head can be mounted to the truck or to a tractor that travels on the truck. It is possible to have both options on the same truck.
At our website, you will find more information about the various models of the Stripe Hog, and the options available with each one. You will also find information about the various applications where the Stripe Hog performs with outstanding results.
In a growing number of countries around the world, the Stripe Hog has become the leader in non-destructive road marking removal. We encourage you to visit our website for more information about our company and links to product videos. Demonstrations of the system can be arranged in the US, Europe and Australia.
