A-Plant Lux Traffic Control & Management will provide traffic management equipment to Kier following a multi-million pound, five-year framework agreement.

Besides the latest agreement, A-Plant has several agreements with Kier across a number of other products.

A-Plant Lux business development director A-Plant Lux Jim McLachlan said: "Over the last twelve months we’ve invested heavily in new traffic management equipment giving us the most modern fleet in the industry to support our customers with."

Jim also added: "Due to the scale of our business we are able to serve all of Kier’s traffic requirements, something that no other company can offer.

"All of our staff are qualified to high speed traffic management (HSTM) operative requirements of LANTRA, meaning we can support Kier on all types of traffic work.

"We have a dedicated national call centre that can manage all of Kier’s traffic enquiries, from site drawings, local authority liaison work and installation to 24/7 emergency callout cover."

"Our new agreement will mean that we’re able to effectively plan and prioritise our resources in the long term, knowing that our traffic works requirements will be expertly managed."

As part of the agreement, A-Plant will provide Kier with a dashboard management system, complete with full KPI reporting tools including delivery, collection and breakdown response times.

Kier Group procurement director Kevan Jepps said: "We’re pleased to have signed this framework agreement with A-Plant Lux.

"Its national service, qualified personnel and modern fleet of equipment make them a natural fit for our business.
