The automotive brand Mini USA has introduced a free Road Assist mobile application for Mini vehicle users across the country.

The application, which has been developed by roadside service solutions developer Allstate Roadside Services, will provide the users access to roadside assistance and will automatically deliver the relevant information including the vehicle’s location to the service provider.

The program is currently available for iPhones and compatible BlackBerry devices and uses global positioning system (GPS) technology to trace out the caller’s location.

Once help is requested, the mobile application supplies the driver with a repair company’s name and an estimated time of arrival. After that, an automated service checks up on the driver to ensure the issue has been resolved.

The mobile application can be downloaded for free by Mini USA owners.
