China will implement a road project to link South Asian countries Bangladesh and Myanmar.

The Bangladesh Government, which is expected to fund the project, said it will be undertaken in two phases, according to economictimes.com.

The the first phase of the project is expected to see the construction of a 23km road and a 2km road in Myanmar and Bangladesh, respectively.

The second phase involves building a 110km road link between Bolibazar and Kyanktow in Myanmar.
