A $100m road project in Hinds county in the US will be started by the end of September.

The road project is expected to create a major commercial and retail corridor in the region.

The 12-mile Clinton-Byram-Norrell Road Corridor will run from Byram’s Siwell Road to the Davis Road intersection northwest of the I-20/Norrell Road interchange west of Clinton.

The project work will be started from the section connecting Siwell Road in Byram to Davis Road.

Out of the total amount, the county has $32m to start the project.
