The construction of the Aberdeen bypass in the UK could face a further two-year delay due to a legal challenge.

The planned £395m bypass is intended to provide a fast link between the towns to the north, south and west of Aberdeen.

The national transport agency, Transport Scotland, is in charge of building the new 28-mile road, according to building.co.uk.

Legal action against the Scottish scheme involves environmental concerns and issues related to the cost of the construction of the road.
