A consortium called Trakia IV has been selected to build the last 47.7km stretch of the Trakia Highway in Bulgaria.

Bulgaria’s Road Infrastructure Agency, Bozhidar Yotov awarded the contract to the consortium which includes Holding Roads, Galchev Engineering, Moststroy and several smaller firms.

Once completed, the section will connect the towns of Yambol and Karnobat, according to balkans.com.

The construction of the stretch is scheduled to begin in September this year and will be complete in 28 months.
