The Scottish Transport Ministry is set to issue tenders for the construction of a multi-million motorway interchange for Larbert in Scotland, UK, in June this year.

The M876 Glenbervie Connecting Roads project involves the upgrade of the junction between the A9 and M876 to a four-way interchange.

The project aims to improve direct accessibility to the motorway and the Clackmannanshire Bridge from the Larbert area, and therefore to reduce traffic congestion from the local road network.

The funding for the project will be made by the Scottish Government through Transport Scotland, Falkirk Council and Scottish Enterprise.

The scheme is scheduled to be completed by March 2012 with construction work starting in September this year.
