The government of the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago has awarded a contract to AECOM Technology for providing project management services for Phase 1 of the US$2.44bn National Highway Network Project.

The first phase will be delivered in six project packages involving the construction of about 125 miles (201.5km) of highways, highway extensions, new freeways and a new causeway.

The six-year contract follows other highway projects undertaken by the company as part of the east-west corridor expansion in Trinidad.
