Galfar Engineering & Contracting, along with its India-based partners, has received three road construction project contracts in India.

The Oman-based construction company, SREI and Varaha, won the Rs3.41bn ($71m) Indore to Ujjain project awarded by the Madhya Pradesh Road Transport Corporation.

Galfar, SREI and PNC Infratech’s joint venture is contracted for the Ghaziabad-Aligarh expressway worth INR20.2bn ($423m) awarded by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI), according to businessweek.com.

The NHAI is also expected to award the Rs16.3bn ($342m) contract to SREI, Galfar and Simplex for six-laning sections of the Chandikole-Jagatpur-Bhubaneshwar road.
