Beaumont Stabilising has been contracting to the road construction industry since 1986. In that time, we have worked on many of the major infrastructure projects around Australia and internationally. We have worked for every major civil contractor in Australia, and have an enviable reputation for the standard of our work.
Beaumont Stabilising has a fleet of four road base paving machines. Made in Germany, the ABG pavers are reliable and hard working. Also included in our fleet are two Volvo front-end loaders used for loading the road base material into the pavers when the use of trucks becomes impractical or uneconomical.
Our fleet of four road base paving machines distribute material in layers from 3.5m to 12m wide. Our pavers are used to lay cement treated (bound) base, or wet mix (unbound) base. This material is laid on top of surveyed formation areas.
We can achieve very accurate level results, which is the reason many clients choose our services over other methods of laying road base. In order to achieve the outcomes required by our clients we use Paveset level control technology.
We offer road base paving machines for:
The two ABG 420 models and the ABG 511 model have a minimum of 4m to maximum of 12m width and can generally process 1,700t to 2,500t of material per day. Quantities produced will vary depending on factors such as supply from quarry and site access.
The ABG 280 is a smaller paver with a variable screed. It has a minimum of 3.2m to a maximum 6m width and can process 1,500t to 1,700t per day. This allows you to vary the width of pavement to a certain degree as you pave.
The ABG 420 and ABG 511 paving machines have a dual tamper action (while the ABG 280 is a single tamper action) with variable speed control, which allows for different degrees of compaction. A smooth drum roller is still required to achieve total compaction.
The capabilities of our road base paving machines are as follows:
Pavement depths:
Pavement crowning:
All paving machines supplied by Beaumont Stabilising are capable of crowning the pavement layers from 0-3%. This allows for cambering of the road surface.
Beaumont Stabilising has over 25 years' experience in the civil contracting industry. Our work has mainly covered the areas of major and arterial road upgrade projects, airport runways and other related pavements, and in the last few years, road tunnels and railway capping.
