Safe German Guardrail Technology (SGGT) knows the importance of properly designed and tested road safety equipment. SGGT's passive road restraint systems play a crucial part in reducing the number of fatalities and the severity of injuries in road accidents.

Our unique qualifications in this field result from more than 50 years of hands-on experience in producing road safety equipment made of high quality steel. The numerous patents and protected developments held by SGGT serve as evidence of its innovative forces.

Steel guard-rails

We offer a variety of simple to highly complex steel guardrails. P13 is a double-sided steel guardrail system with a distance of 2,000mm between the posts. The P13 features sliding elements and special spacers.

Crashworthy, median barrier gates

The Gate-Guard crashworthy, median barrier gate is easy to open in less than three minutes. It is perfect for safely channeling traffic from one side of the road to the other, to provide rapid access for emergency vehicles or for use in contra flow situations.

Minimizing bridge damage

SGGT's Bridge-Guard is designed to minimize bridge damage in case of an impact and offers excellent redirecting capabilities. It has a low working width and is tested and approved to H4b.

Mobile steel safety designs for roadwork zones

Mobile and temporary steel safety designs, mainly used in roadwork zones, are also part of our product range. The Mini-Guard steel barrier is designed for use on construction sites. It offers maximum stability with minimal working width. It is tested and approved at T1, T2, and T3.

The Vario-Guard system is also useful for roadwork zones and construction sites. It is especially fast to assemble, a critical advantage in both temporary and stationary applications. It is tested and approved at T3, N2, H1 and H2.

Nature-rail barrier systems

The Nature-Rail system combines the strength of steel with the beauty of wood for perfect integration into landscape and scenery. All the wood parts come from sustained forestry. It has an impact resistance class of N2, and galvanization and weather resistant wood treatment guarantee a long working life.

An example of our commitment to the environment is the wooden parts used in our Nature-Rail series, which all come from sustained forestry.
